Bruce Williamson, Realtor/Broker

Bruce first became a Realtor in 1967 while he was the owner of Williamson Insurance Agency in Coshocton, Ohio. Until 1990, the sale of real estate was secondary to insurance. During 1991, however, Bruce sold the insurance agency with the intention to market Apple Valley Lake to central Ohio and the world.

Bruce and his family, wife Donna and son's Jim and Jeff, first moved to Apple Valley Lake in 1982 after having owned a weekend getaway for two years. It was the family who insisted that this was the place to live. Bruce drove 35 miles one way to work, as many residents do today, so that the family could enjoy the quality of life of the valley. Jim and Jeff graduated from East Knox High School, where they received a quality education. After attending college both have returned to the area.

After the sale of his insurance agency, Bruce tried to interest other Real Estate firms to establish an office at Apple Valley. Finding none that shared the same vision for the future, he created Apple Cove Realty. While marketing only in the Valley, Bruce achieved the One Million Dollar producer status in 1992, two and one half million in sales in 1993, 2002, 2003, and 2004 and five million producer 1994, 95, 96, 98 and 99. The Ohio Association of Realtors established the "Pinnacle Award" in 2000 and Bruce has qualified for that award in both 2000 and 2001. This represents sales in excess of 7.5 million or over 100 transactions each year. Bruce has sold more real estate in Knox County during the last five years than any other Realtor while restricting efforts to Apple Valley Lake.
